Where does my child start?
We start with a conversation about your child’s needs and, where appropriate, a placement assessment. The aim is to find a starting point that fits their current skills.
Study With Sadie · Helderberg
I’m Sadie. I create completely individualised, neurodiverse-friendly learning days. No two students’ days look the same, and neither does the way we approach their curriculum.
I blend curriculum content with resources I’ve written for neurodiverse learners. The SPARK Method helps students work through reading, processing and attention barriers, while GED builds practical skills and Cambridge focuses on applying knowledge.

Meet Sadie Kruger · Founder
What comes easily? Where do they get stuck? What do they enjoy? These are the things I want to understand before we decide how to work together.
My background in music psychology, with a special focus on adolescent development, along with my years of teaching in alternative education and working with neurodiverse students, guide my individualized and neurodivergent-friendly approach to teaching.
I stay with a concept until your child understands it, can use it and feels confident. If one explanation doesn’t click, we try another route: different steps, a story or an example that makes sense to them. Some days the right support is a pause and a conversation before we return to the work. As I get to know each learner, I can help them build practical tools alongside academic skills.

Let’s talk about your childWhat support looks like

We start with a conversation about your child’s needs and, where appropriate, a placement assessment. The aim is to find a starting point that fits their current skills.
We slow down and try another way in: smaller steps, a story that makes the idea concrete, or a different route to the same answer. We move on when your child can explain and apply it, not just repeat it.
I pay attention to what helps each learner feel ready to continue. That may mean listening, taking a short break or changing how we approach the task. Learning works better when your child has room to be themselves and feels supported.
Learners have weekly progress check-ins and take part in setting their schedules and goals. Termly assessments and individual feedback help track progress. Parents can expect clear communication and shared goals.
